Formula basis
Weight (kg) for each row = target BMI x height (m)^2. Height (cm) = starting height + (row number - 1) x step. The number of rows equals the repeat count entered (shown to two decimal places with trailing zeros omitted).
Calculation method
Given a target BMI value, calculates the corresponding weight for a series of heights starting at a chosen value and increasing by a fixed step, and lists the results in a table.
Exclusions and checks required
This is a reverse calculation from a chosen BMI value, not a guarantee of an individual's ideal weight.
This formula does not apply to children or adolescents who are still growing.
It does not account for differences in body fat percentage, muscle mass, or frame size.
