Formula basis
Du Bois formula: BSA (m²) = 0.007184 × height(cm)^0.725 × weight(kg)^0.425. Shintani formula: the same exponents (height^0.725 × weight^0.425) with the coefficient replaced by 0.007358. Fujimoto formula: BSA (m²) = 0.008883 × height(cm)^0.663 × weight(kg)^0.444. This implementation displays all three results rounded to 6 significant figures.

Exclusions and checks required
All three are regression-based estimates; an individual's measured surface area can differ from the formula result by a few percent.
The 1931 paper attributed as the origin of the Shintani formula's coefficient (0.007358) could not be directly accessed online during this review, so the coefficient has not been checked against that primary source.
